I. Hate. Corporate. BS.
TL;DR:FUUUUUCK CORPORATE.
There was a reason why I quit working for any corporate entity over 20 yrs ago. When the small business I've been working for was bought a year ago, I said I'd give this company a chance. When I finally got my raise that I was going "to be very happy and impressed with", I have decided as soon as I get another job these people can kiss my ass. I'm unsurprisingly expected to pull miracles out of my ass with absolutely no support and be the only person able to get the work done in my department. My manager doesn't know how to do this crap and has to come to me and I'm actually new to this department myself, just not as new as she is. I've tried getting myself transferred back to AR and away from this particular cluster fuck, but "I'm needed where I'm at". Apparently I'm not too needed, since I explained why I was asking to go back to AR, which should have told them I'm willing to leave all together.
