Do all the old pokemon games feel somewhat the same?
I dont mean this in a negative way, i havent played all the pokemon games , ive only ever played a couple of them on the nintendo dsi , i recently played pokemon emerald and felt that it was pretty similar to ruby. I remember pokemon ranger being a little different. I ask this because i plan to play pokemon platinum, black and white 1 and 2 and heartgold and silver maybe , but if all the games are going to feel very similar i may not, i understand they are older games now and obviously the core gameplay wont be different but just a different story enough to feel like a brand new experience? Or maybe i shouldnt play all the pokemon games back to back? I really did enjoy ranger as the core gameplay was different (circling to catch pokemon).
