Explaining the context of the economic crisis in Argentina and why we Argentines urgently seek solid solutions outside of our currency.

In recent years, cryptocurrencies have become increasingly popular worldwide as an alternative form of payment and investment. While their adoption is still limited in some places, in countries like Argentina, where the economy has been in crisis for decades, cryptocurrencies are gaining ground as a potential solution to the country's economic problems.

Argentina has been grappling with rampant inflation, a volatile national currency, and unsustainable debt for decades. Argentine citizens have sought ways to protect their savings from inflation and currency depreciation, and many have turned to cryptocurrencies as a solution.
As we know, one of the advantages of cryptocurrencies is that they are not controlled by any government or central entity, making them resistant to inflation and national currency volatility. Additionally, cryptocurrency transactions are fast and secure, making them attractive to those seeking to move money efficiently and without restrictions. Another benefit of cryptocurrencies is their accessibility. Unlike traditional markets, where access to investment and ownership of financial assets is limited to a small number of people with specialized knowledge, cryptocurrencies are available to anyone with internet access. This means that Argentine citizens who do not have access to traditional markets or who have lost confidence in them can invest and protect their wealth in cryptocurrencies.
In summary, cryptocurrencies offer a potential solution to Argentina's and other crisis-ridden countries' economic problems. Their resistance to inflation, accessibility, and transaction efficiency could help protect citizens' wealth, boost exports, and reduce debt. As cryptocurrency adoption continues to grow worldwide, it is important for governments and financial institutions to adapt to this change and develop effective regulations to ensure their safety and effectiveness. While the potential benefits of cryptocurrencies for Argentina's economy have been highlighted, it's important to note that the same applies to many other countries in Latin America. Like Argentina, many countries in the region have been plagued by hyperinflation, currency devaluation, and economic instability for years, making cryptocurrencies an attractive option for citizens seeking to protect their wealth.

◼️ In Venezuela, for example, citizens have turned to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Dash as a means of navigating the country's economic crisis. The hyperinflation of the bolivar has rendered it virtually worthless, and cryptocurrencies have provided a way to store value and make transactions with greater efficiency and security. Dash, in particular, has gained popularity in Venezuela due to its focus on fast and inexpensive transactions, as well as its integration with local merchants.

◼️ In Brazil, where the economy has also faced significant challenges, cryptocurrencies have become increasingly popular among investors and entrepreneurs. The country has a large number of unbanked citizens, and cryptocurrencies provide a means of accessing financial services that traditional banks have failed to provide. Additionally, cryptocurrency mining has become a popular industry in Brazil, providing new opportunities for job creation and economic growth.

◼️ In Colombia, the use of cryptocurrencies is also on the rise. The country has seen significant growth in the number of cryptocurrency exchanges, and the government has taken steps to regulate the industry. Like Brazil, Colombia has a large number of unbanked citizens, and cryptocurrencies offer a means of financial inclusion and access to global markets.

Overall, cryptocurrencies offer a promising solution to the economic challenges facing many countries in Latin America. Their decentralized nature, accessibility, and transaction efficiency make them an attractive option for citizens seeking to protect their wealth, access financial services, and participate in the global economy. While there are risks and challenges associated with the use of cryptocurrencies, these can be addressed through education and effective regulation. As the adoption of cryptocurrencies continues to grow in the region, it is important for governments and financial institutions to embrace this change and work to create a regulatory framework that promotes innovation and protects citizens.

Why do we Argentines seek urgent and solid solutions?
We have a long history of economic instability, and we’ve been facing increasing restrictions on the use of the US dollar. The government has implemented a series of measures aimed at controlling the flow of dollars in and out of the country, including restrictions on the purchase of US dollars and limitations on the use of credit cards for overseas purchases.
These restrictions have had a significant impact on our economy, particularly for individuals and businesses that rely on the US dollar for international trade and commerce. One of the main challenges for these groups has been the difficulty in obtaining US dollars, which has led to higher costs and delays in transactions.
One of the key measures implemented by the government is the "dollar blue market," which refers to the unofficial market for US dollars that operates outside of the official banking system. This market has become a popular alternative for those who are unable to access US dollars through official channels, but it is also subject to high fees and risks. It should be noted that in this market, the purchase of a dollar in relation to the official currency costs twice as much money. To understand the context: not everyone can go to the bank and ask for dollars, and the lucky ones buy them with a 65% tax on the official value, which means that it is more profitable to get them in the "blue" market than in the bank. Also, although the dollar is the same currency, the perceptions in my country are more than 20. We have different prices for the dollars consumed abroad by card, subscriptions to digital services such as Netflix, the price of the products we export (this is real, we have a \"soybean dollar\"), and so on to the point where it is a nightmare to try to hedge against instability.
The restrictions on US dollars in Argentina highlight the challenges facing countries that are heavily reliant on foreign currency, particularly in times of economic uncertainty. While the government\'s efforts to control the flow of dollars may be \"well-intentioned\", in addition to this, there are other factors such as current political corruption, the pre-electoral scenario and the famous \"crack\" that exists between the political parties. It would be very extensive to explain, but in any imaginary of this problem: citizens are the ones who pay the price. they have also had unintended consequences for the broader economy, particularly for those who rely on international trade and commerce.
Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see how the situation evolves (or not), and whether alternative forms of currency, such as cryptocurrencies, will continue to gain traction as a viable alternative to traditional financial systems. Regardless of the outcome, it is clear that the restrictions on US dollars in Argentina have had a significant impact on the economy, and will continue to be a major challenge for all of us.

💠BONUS 💠
This is a part of the list of the different prices that we have on the dollar, of which not all citizens have access to buy them. To highlight something: the monthly limit for a person who meets the bank's strict requirements to buy dollars there is 200 USD. The average salary of an Argentine is around 65K-75K ARS (159-190USD). Which means that if someone wanted to buy a house here, they would have to save 87 years without touching their salary to finish owning an average house without great luxuries or amenities.
