The bait changes. The trap doesn’t.
Same idea... different design.

It’s basically about how we get sold on things. The core idea β€” a commitment, a habit, a risk β€” stays the same. But if you wrap it in nice packaging, better branding, and the right timing, your brain goes from β€œnope” to β€œthis feels like a good idea.”

Funny version: It’s why nobody falls for β€œdo you want a mousetrap?” but everyone falls for β€œdo you want to get engaged?”
Deep version: It’s a reminder to look past the design and ask what the thing is actually doing to you.

It’s pointing out how the _mechanism_ stays the same, but the _presentation_ changes how you react to it. A trap becomes appealing if you wrap it in velvet and call it a promise.

Wow, so well said sis. It’s all about the packaging, but the core stays the same, such a smart, meaningful insight! πŸ₯°
