If you’re dining out with a large-ish group and split the bill evenly, how do you make sure the bill is correct/not extra charges by mistake?
I mean, unless you pass the bill around the table and everyone takes a pen and crosses off their order, how would you know if something was on the bill by mistake? Does that make sense? By chance I \*did\* catch an erroneous charge so now I’m wondering if it happens more often than I realize.
How do you usually handle group bills? Do you split evenly, request separate checks, everyone puts in for what they order (I often find in this last way people don’t put in enough for their sales tax/forget to add tax and sometimes not enough for tip either 😒). Thanks.
