I had an interesting conversation with a Pastor while I was in the USA. He sees our community in Thailand, you do too many times. He sees the fun, love, and most importantly the transformed lives here. He does not see church, western Christian imperialism or western style individualism. He sees families, support, and deep commitment.

What we experience here is much like the things has shared.

The Pastor said something interesting and so humble, positioning himself as a learner. He said, "I need your help. Our church is dying, but Jesus's church is thriving." I came across this video out of Tampa Florida and it reflects much of what we are seeing happen. People, not joining a club with predefined rules, roles and vision, but inspired to be who God made them to be and contribute as God leads them. Tell me your thoughts on this video.

It really resonated with me. Faith through genuine relationships, support, and transformation is truly the way. The Pastor's humility and willingness to learn, especially his statement that "our church is dying, but Jesus's church is thriving," struck a chord with me. It highlights how the essence of Jesus’s teachings—community, love, and personal transformation—continues to thrive beyond traditional structures. It reminds me of the body of believers in The Salvation Army, my church, where people are inspired to be who God made them to be and to contribute as they feel led. It truly does foster a more dynamic and engaged faith community. Great share!
