Failed my MOD1 yesterday
As per the title, I failed, I failed on something sooooooooooo stupid I’m beating myself up about it.
As I pulled away on the slow manoeuvre the bike leaned to the right and this was deemed a serious fault. I knew it immediately. But this meant I felt the pressure was off and did good on the rest of the test. I’d already nailed the slalom and figure of 8.
A costly mistake to make when I have drilled and drilled slow manoeuvres in recent weeks only to be let down as I had doubts about the 11 year old bike the riding school brought out for me. I was so focused on finding that biting point I just lost concentration.
Rebooked for the morning I have my MOD2 booked and trying not to pressure myself more.
A small lean turned into an error I hope to never repeat.
