I used to ask people why they hustle everyday and still no savings, no proof of success nor investments.
It wasn’t until later that I realized our priorities were different. Some people, privileged with stability, work to invest and build wealth while others work simply to SURVIVE.
To survive in every monthly bills, in hunger, in everyday struggles to choose “unsay dapat isud-an” and feel the sense of relief even knowing, coins are the only thing left in the wallet.
This is just my thought I want to share something out from the photo below.
It was my payday yesterday.
What I thought immediately was to buy at least a snack for myself - a reward for surviving 15 days of working. Just “1 Coke Mismo for ₱22.00 | ₱5.00 Mani | and an ₱8.00 junkfood.” So cheap right? but this is all enough - enough for myself.
I can afford a hundred plus comfort food but I chose not to because I still have PRIORITIES - to share a shoulder for the burden my family have.
Now I understand,
Just because someone works hard but has no visible investments doesn’t mean they are lazy. Oftentimes, their resources are redirected toward supporting their families or addressing urgent responsibilities that go unnoticed by others.
A lesson for everyone; before labeling someone as no investments or has no anything to brag, take a moment to understand the weight they silently carry.
Always know that, true success isn’t always measured by assets, it is often reflected in the sacrifices made for others. You never know what silent battles someone is choosing to fight for the sake of their responsibilities.
To those who keeps showing up, who works tirelessly without recognition, padayon rata ninyo!
Our sacrifices may not be seen by others but it is to the One who matters most. Believe in that God’s favor is never late. What you’re planting in tears today, you will one day harvest it with joy.
Cheers to more battles for our survivability! Laban lang ta kanunay!

you're right sometimes what we buy varies the amount. If we want simple and can satisfy us, but we choose the expensive one and telling ourselves deserve ko to, until we become broke because of the saying deserve ko to .
