I'm gay and my best friend is actually my boyfriend...
Me and my boyfriend been together about 2 years now and 2 weeks ago we decided to come out to family and friends.
We both turned 18 and because of my boyfriend's family being muslim we haven't told everyone knowing it's not accepted beeing gay...
So we decided to tell my family first and tell them the situation hoping he could sleep in our guest room after the secret came out so he could be safe if his family had a bad reaction.
To be honest i was filled with excitement expecting my parents reaction beeing positive. We live in Scandinavia and I'm from a open household with open-minded parents.
So we sat down in the living room with my mother and father proudly announcing we were in love..
My mother and father looks at me for a minute in shock.
And my father got up and pointed at the door and told oss to get out of the house and seek help.
We were shocked not knowing if he was joking or something but then he started yelling we were sick perverted and he got sic of just seeing our faces..
There was allot of confusion and crying and not knowing what to do my boyfriend just didn't want to tell his family and we decided going to he's house for the night. Normally they didn't mind me staying the night not even thinking we could be more than friends.
When we got to his house he's father was standing outside and the second he noticed oss we could see he was crying.
He cam straight twords oss and threw his arms around oss and while hugging oss said something i will never forget: I'm so happy you came home we were afraid you were too scared.
We talked for hours learning that my father called to tell them what "sick boys" we were leading his father to shook and anger thinking we were dead to him.
However waiting for oss (about 5 hours) he got worried he newer see his son again and realized that nothing else matters
