Is editing really necessary?
I have taken photos of friends, events, ceremonies, and some small photo shoots, the people all seem to love the photos and even post them.
I straight up transfer the photos from the SD card into my phone and send it to them so they never have to wait for the photos to be ready.
They love the photos because they look clean and natural but when I want photos taken the photographers always take a few days to send me the photos.
They look good but unnatural due to some colors being different than original, shades and light that wasn't there and contrast making my face too bright or too dark, meanwhile the ones I take are as the camera captures it and just looks more natural.
I would usually set up a tripod and take photos of myself but just had a photoshoot with a baby and dog so I needed someone to take the photos, I wanted to print them but it just looks off and the photographer said they prefer to not send the unedited photos.
Is editing necessary? or can costumers request for the unedited photos?
(I am decent at photos but I do it as a hobby for friends, family, or capturing the moment but never looked into editing)
