Saut-Mathurine.
It is a waterfall located in Camp-Perrin, South. It is one of the largest waterfalls in Haiti. The waterfall extends over the Cavaillon river in the heights of Camp-Perrin. This waterfall measures about 30 meters wide and 27 meters in height . The water of the fall are used in the production of electricity thanks to a capture in the Mahot basin which feeds the 3 hydroelectric turbines allowing to feed the city of Camp-Perrin and Maniche with powers of 2.4 megawatts in rainy seasons and 700 kilowatts in dry seasons. The water pool at the foot of the fall is a natural and clear water swimming pool and the surrounding area enjoys lush vegetation with cracked limestone rock cliffs.
