When is it financially worth it to be 100% vested? I've always planned to quit my job once I am 100% vested in their 401k. I'm getting a little closer and trying to decide if it is even worth it (financially) or if the vested amount is negligible to even consider. This is what I know:The match is $.50 up to the first 6%I will be 100% vested in June 2024. (Before then 66% vested).Example: If I had $10000 match at 66% I'd get $6600, thus losing $3400. I'd have to take that or decide if waiting a month or whatever is worth the full $10k (an additional $3400).If the vesting gain is less than a month's pay, its not worth it to stick around. Would this be a valid threshold? So in the example, it would not be worth it.This may be too personal of a question, but is there a formula or tipping point to consider? Since it's percentages, it depends how much is in the match.
