It's delicious to eat the fruit itself, but these countries also make jelly with it that you can have with bread, toast or inside a pastry with cream cheese together. And a hard paste that you can cut with a knife and eat with different types of local white cheeses. It goes really well with any type of Mozzarella. The combination of the two is so perfect that in Brazil we call it "Romeo and Juliet".
Here in Miami is the only place in America that I ever saw Guava fruit and Guava paste. The local restaurants also make desserts and pastries with it 😋
