Where exactly did Userbenchmark's extreme anti-amd bias come from?
Back when I got into this community in 2019 it definitely seemed that the site had some bias towards Intel and Nvidia, with results always seemingly suspiciously poor for AMD in the comparison, even when benchmarks would lead you to believe AMD had the faster product. Over the last few months though I was doing the research for a new PC build and ended up checking out the site, and HOLY SHIT did it get worse. The writeups for the RX 7000 and Ryzen 7000 series are basically just hit pieces, like they're not even trying to hide or be subtle about it anymore. Even in their review for the 13th gen intel processors https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Intel-Core-i5-13600K/Rating/4134, over half of it is spent bashing on Ryzen chips and even how Nvidia is beating Ryzen on the GPU end, in a review about Intel CPU's. I'm just really curious where this unbelievable hatred for AMD came from. Did an AMD exec kill the owner of Userbenchmark's parents and now he's on a crusade or something?
