MartabaK
is a dish commonly found in Saudi Arabia (especially in the Hijaz region), Yemen, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Depending on the location, the name and composition of the martabak may vary.
In Indonesia, there are two types of martabak, namely salty/egg martabak which is made from a mixture of eggs and meat, and sweet martabak, which is usually filled with chocolate and cheese. Unlike egg martabak, sweet martabak is a type of cake or jam-filled bread that is usually eaten at leisure as a snack.
