We love to run on the beach at low tide. This "hole" is north of Kalaloch Campground on the Pacific Ocean. Not much color in this low winter light.
I've taken many photos of this spot and for some reason this near black and white is the best. It is more dramatic, i think because of shapes and angles. in full sun the colors are distracting.
every time I've been there the alien rocks are a bit different because the tide moves the gravel around. sometimes they are "bigger" sometimes the ones in the foreground are almost buried. this beach is dark sand and tiny black pebbles.
