Have you seen this? It's the Salina Turda Salt mine that ended operations in the 1880’s… “the salt from Turda Salt Mine could cover the salt requirement for the entire Planet for 60 years, if it were necessary.” Salina Turda was ranked in 2013 by Business Insider as among the "25 hidden gems around the world that are worth the trek". It’s kind of like an underground amusement park with a Ferris wheel, putt-putt golf, ping pong tables, pool tables, a lake with row boats, two bowling lanes, and more. Turda Salt Mine also includes a generous amphitheatre – with 180 (heated) seats, it regularly hosts shows, movie screenings, etc. Check out some some very cool pix here: https://www.mybestplace.com/en/article/salina-turda-an-ancient-salt-mine-transformed-into-an-amusement-park
