I'm a Muslim and love Jews
Shalom.
I love your strict monotheism.
I love your dedication to study, inquiry, and debate.
I love how you foster such strong communities.
I love how you've been through so much and yet you still stand tall, unblinking and unfazed.
I think you're really strong people and I admire you so much. Before I converted to Islam I watched Jewish and Christian debates and the Jews were always respectful and yet relentless in their debates. I considered Judaism and even visited synogogues on Fridays to support the community, especially after that horrific synogogue massacre.
The common take is that we are supposed to hate each other. I'm a black Muslim and the story goes is I'm supposed to hate you. But I don't. In the black community there's rampant anti semitism especially and I always call it out and say it's not okay. I admire you and your faith so much. I plan on visiting my local synogogue for Passover this year in support of interreligious relations. I'm so sorry for all the bad blood between our religions and races and everything. It's just saddening since we share so much.
Assalamu alaikum and have a good day.
