LPT Request: How to raise your quality of life reasonably?
I'm coming from eastern Europe from a poor village, my whole life was about either the cheapest possible things or we couldn't afford it. 1 shitty shoe every 2 years, second hand, damaged clothing, no family pressure about personal hygiene, no dental examinations, no health check-ups etc.I finally managed to move to Austria with a nice salary, but since I lived like that for 25+ years, I still can't get rid of most of those bad habits.I had the money and means now to finally not to look for the cheapest possible things. Of course I know that more expensive doesn't always mean better, so I don't just want to go to designer shops or buy more expensive brands, I want to feel more comfortable and raise the quality of my life - not necessarily spending more (if possible).I've already seen some posts about better socks, better toothbrushes, better bedsheets etc, I would like to collect these things. What are those small/big things which make a world of difference in your lives? This includes what to do periodically about health and so on.
