Gaming on the Go: Seeking Advice for a Caravan Gaming Setup!

I'm a casual gamer who loves spending my weekends camping in my caravan. It's the perfect way to relax and enjoy nature, but I can't help but miss my gaming sessions during those trips. That's why I'm reaching out to the gaming community for some advice and creative solutions.
I currently own a PlayStation 5 and an Xbox Series S, and I'd love to create a gaming setup in my caravan. However, I'm torn between a few options and could use your expertise. While I'm primarily a console gamer, I'm open to exploring different options.
Here are a couple of ideas I've been considering:
1. Handheld Console: I've been eyeing the ROG Ally or the Nintendo Switch as a portable gaming solution. Both have their merits, but I'm not sure if they'll satisfy my console gaming cravings. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've tried gaming on these handheld consoles.
2. Portable Gaming Monitor: Another option that has caught my attention is investing in a portable gaming monitor for my Xbox Series S. This way, I can use my existing console and enjoy a larger screen. Have any of you tried this setup? Is it worth the investment?
