Has Mercedes build quality gone down the drain?
I sat in a new EQE on the showroom floor a few weeks ago. I was immediately disappointed by how ‘entry-level’ the whole interior felt for a car that starts at $75,000. Smelly plasticky leather, horrific visibility, cheap feeling doors, tacky screen. Felt more like an A-Class. Feels like a far cry from even the iX which feels very airy and solid (despite the exterior). Does anyone have any personal experience to share with the EQE/EQS or am I missing something?

Optioned up with that wall to wall screen in the front, I think would give it a much better overall feel and upgrade to the materials used probably comes with it. The YouTube car reviewers seem to say a lot of nice things.
that's disappointing to hear. once battery supply gets sorted out EVs should be cheaper to manufacture that internal combustion rube goldberg devices.
