What’s the best response to “what does an engineer do” to a person who doesn’t know what a engineer does ? I get asked this question a lot, but my answer is never satisfying as it comes across pretentious, or just too long , I usually just say “engineers solve problems “ as it’s the most accurate one. But I feel like there’s better explanations out there
