Hello Tangled Social. A few days ago I hinted on posting something outta real life, and here it is. This time my image is not made by an AI but by me. This is what I currently eat for months. Plain Pasta and sometimes even without salt because I just can't afford it. The inflation here in germany is killing me... and I actually mean it literally the way I wrote it. Currently I barely can pay my bills and food and I got a bad information letter that my electricity bill will raise by roughly 100%, since I pay about 100€ it will raise by roughly that number too. I currently have -0.34€ on my bank account and one bill that got deducted a few days too early cuts me in for 10€ extra for back charges from my bank and the company that tried to bill me early. 20€ are being deducted for december too because I got ~20€ "back" for service charges, but that was 2 months ago, so that cuts in extra. Just 30€ gone for nothing. If this keeps up the way it does currently it will literally kill me as I have to decide if I want to eat or have electricity and heat. I won't be able to have both anymore and in germany on the first day of a new year priced of groceries get updated and in about 90% of all cases thats only upwards and not down. Now comes the fun part: In germany they FINALLY and in last minute they agreed on an upgrade of our welfare stuff, while the inflation is ongoing for 2 years BUT of course the politicians made an "Inflation Compensation" for their own money just 3 months after the inflation started. Not that they needed it as they get 50k€+ a month but they did it and they did it fucking FAST. Now what about people like me that can not work or are not allowed to work because of their health? Well we now, after our daily life costs went up by roughly 100€ per person, we now get, starting on january, 53€ more than before. If you are capable of math for first graders you will instantly see that something's not right here. Yup we're still at least (and my numbers here are all rounded up and the most positive possible outcome and are actually for most much worse) 47€ short and most people got or get soon their new electricity bill and they go up roughly by 50 - 200%. So most are missing at least 150€ a month to even be able to pay bills and food. I have really no (legal) words to describe my hate for our politicians currently but I have one thank to tell them: "Thank you for killing me" Well, at least there is a temporary "block" that electricity companies may not cut you off if you can't pay the bills but the minus racks up and it racks up extremely fast as soon as the new bill comes in, not even talking about the annual one and as soon as the temporary block will be taken away hundrets of thousands germans, me included, will be cut off of electricity and with that cut off of being able to cook, being able to keep food fresh in a fridge, being able to shower, or in short: Being able to live. Well, thats it for now. If you have questions, just ask. Just please spare me any kind of "Why not work online" or anything alike. I can't do work and I am only allowed to earn 100€ flat extra. Any Euro above gets taken away from me by 90%. So if I would have a work that would give me 200€ a month I'd only get to keep 110€ of that. While I try to find something there is like no one on this planet having that few work to that I can do to at least allow me the 100€ extra.
