A console is a good option but i heard minecraft is terrible on console, not to mention games are quite expensive on console and a house is better for games like fortnite plus i would like to build the pc together with him because this is the first in a long time i am doing something like this with him. i realise the budget is very tight but this is the best i can manage after paying loans and bills and i fear saving won't be a good idea since my wife might just use this in case an emergency arises where we might need money(which we often do). I will try replying to the comments but I'll add some extra info here: I tried asking him if he would mind getting a console like xbox, ps4/ps5 or switch as you people suggested but he firmly refused and insisted that he get a pc, he wants to play minecraft mods? which apparently isn't available on consoles. I tried looking for them online but they are all way over my budget Xbox series s which was suggested the most is priced at 35k, used ones are available for around 28k-30k with no warranty, i couldn't find a ps5 as they were all out of stock so i tried for a ps4, most of them are priced at 20k but they have been used for 4-5 years so i am not willing to take a risk spending 20k on a console only for it to end up breaking down a few days later, switch is over my budget as well so it's not an option and while i did mention Mario Odyssey in the post, his top priorities are Fortnite and Minecraft. My wife also feels a pc might be more useful as it might be helpful with his school work later down the line. I'll try to respond to all your comments if possible
