i’m so heartbroken.
had to let go of somebody because he wasn’t ready for marriage, he had thought he was because of emotions don’t get me wrong he loved me but because of college and him not having a job yet he can’t really marry me, and we are so attached to eachother that we really didn’t have any business talking to eachother without the intention of marriage even though i very much do want to marry him.. but he’s just not ready right now and i’m so heartbroken that we no longer can keep in contact. and he couldn’t even guarantee that he would come back to me when he was ready to marry. inshallah we meet again and are able to be together in a halal way.

When did the Prophet Muhammad gain the military experience to lead an army in his conquest of Mecca?
AFAIK, the man who would become the prophet ,Muhammad ibn Abdullah, was a caravan merchant operating under his wife before his revelations, preachings and emigration to Medina. When he returned to Mecca, he returned a conqueror. When and how did he learn the generalship necessary to lead a successful conquest?
