Can you help me with Louisiana swamps trip?
If I'm planning an outdoors-focused trip to southern Louisiana, from what I've seen the locations on my list would include Atchafalaya Basin, Honey Island, and the Bayous. It seems the generally recommended activity for these three locations is a boat swamp tour, but I don't want to go on multiple boat swamp tours.
Is there one of these places that you think is better than the others for a swamp tour? If so are there other activities worthwhile in the other two places, or do you think visiting all three of these places is kind of redundant?
(Note that the others on my list that I didn't see recommended as "primarily swamp tour" places are Avery Island and Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve.)
