I saw this tree in a Buddhist temple. Its name is Ficus Religiosa, aka peepul tree, peepal tree, bodhi tree or pipala tree. It's native from India to southeastern Asia. It is said that Prince Siddhartha sat under a peepal tree and meditated until he attained enlightenment and became known as the Buddha.🙏🏼
