Bringing food into the Anne Frank House.
Hello. I’ll be visiting the Anne Frank House soon and have a question. I know that food and drinks are not allowed inside, and that there is a café or similar establishment on the premises. Since I’ll be spending a full day in Amsterdam, I’m thinking of bringing some sandwiches in my bag to eat for lunch after I leave the museum. I’ve also read that there is a security check upon entry. Could anyone who has visited tell me what the security check is like? Is it a scanner, or is it a manual check where you have to show the contents of your bag? Has anyone had any experience bringing food along—just to eat later outside the museum—and did the staff say anything or force you to throw it away? Thank you very much for your help.

Just Went to Bucharest…
Sooo, I spent a week in Romania, started with Bucharest, took the train to Braşov, and then to Cluj Napoca.
Wow, what an interesting trip! I absolutely loved Braşov and Cluj, I would definitely say I’m thankful those two cities exist lol!
Well, I wish I could say the same for Bucharest! I did happen to be there when it was down pouring rain for a couple of days, so I wonder if that affects how I felt. Some of the architecture is cool, but I found most of the city to be quite ran down. And that train station…… god awful lol. I also didn’t find the locals to be very friendly either, which was much different in Braşov and Cluj.
I’m writing this post to see if anyone else felt the same! I really really wanted to like Bucharest as I know it is liked.
