Pointing out flaws in system because of personal flaws is not victim mentality
I'm kinda tired of the whole "wake up at 5,go to gym, meditate, do a side hustle and then you will be successful".
While these things may improve chances of getting somewhere, it is not a guarantee. And that is majorly because the system is designed in such a way that only few people can win. Those who win sometimes fail to see that there was a huge element of luck. Telling others that they didn't work hard enough and they would be successful if they worked harder shows a complete lack of empathy.
The same thing goes for a lot of other things, like dating apps or social media apps purposely designed to keep us addicted.
While I understand that on an individual level, its best to do things which seem under our control, not seeing the flaws in the system makes it difficult for it to change. And too much unnecessary self blame

Heidi Klum doesn't deserve the praise she gets for her Halloween costumes.
She's got a monster movie type team of designers and crew making it for her! It would be like giving Arnold Schwarzenegger the best costume award for Terminator, and ignoring the actual costume designers.
Yes, it's incredible, yes, the team behind it deserves all the praise. But its not the same as a person making their own costume!
Anyone of us could have costumes that good if we had the resources she did.
I'm so tired of hearing about her being the queen of Halloween. She's the richest person invested in Halloween. Period.

Returning a costume you just bought and wore for Halloween is immoral and unethical
I have heard from probably five different people now that they all have returned a costume they bought and wore for Halloween. Like sure, I understand returning a costume that doesn’t fit. But returning a costume you bought, wore to parties, and took photos in is morally and ethically wrong. You’re just stealing from the companies. There are plenty of companies that provide rental services if you’re not wanting to keep the costume long term.
