First Generation of computers: (1945-1956)
The earliest systems of the computer utilized magnetic drums and vacuum tubes as memory and circuits respectively. This invention was huge in structure and not at all compactable. In addition to consuming a large quantity of power, the early computers produced plenty of heat which frequently caused problems. These computers were extremely costly to run.

The computers of the first generation were dependent on machine language which is regarded as the computer's base programming language. These computers have the capability of handling one issue at a time. In order to solve a basic problem within these computers, operators had to invest a lot of time in this. Each paper tape and the card were centered on the input and the result was shown on prints

#ComputerHistory

The history of computers is a fascinating saga of technological innovation that radically transformed our world. It dates back centuries, with the first mechanical calculators developed in the 17th century by inventors like Blaise Pascal and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. However, the real turning point in the history of computing took place in the 20th century.

In 1946, ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer) was put into operation. It was the first fully functional electronic computer, occupying an entire room and using thousands of vacuum tubes. This massive machine marked the beginning of the modern computing era.

The following decades saw significant advances, including the invention of the transistor in 1947 by Bell Labs, which led to the creation of smaller, more reliable, and more powerful computers. The 1950s and 1960s saw the emergence of the first commercial computers, such as the IBM 704 and the IBM 360.

The 1970s saw the advent of microprocessors, notably with the creation of the Intel 4004 microprocessor in 1971. This miniaturization made personal computers possible, leading to the popularization of PCs in the 1980s with iconic models like the Apple Macintosh and the IBM PC.

Since then, the evolution of computers has been marked by a constant increase in computing power, the miniaturization of components, the advent of the Internet, and the proliferation of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
