Fraud on Telegram has started to increase. They ask you to do various tasks (subscription, membership, etc.) and send you a small amount of money for these. So they are feeding. Then they say you have to pay a fee to continue. And if you send money, you can't communicate again. Even if you contact them, they want more money from you with various excuses. They reach you through the various groups you are a member of. Please be careful.

Scam Type: Pig Butchering Scam, Fraudulent Trading Platform
💔 Complaint Narrative: A victim shares a harrowing experience with a crypto scam. They encountered an internet scammer named Manapool, who poses as a decentralized crypto trading platform. The scammer's website, www.Manapool-eth.info/# , even works within the browser page of Coinbase wallet, a trusted crypto app. The victim was lured into decentralized crypto trading by a woman they met online, claiming to be from mainland China. Since September 2022, the victim invested millions of dollars through Manapool.
😢 The victim decided to cash out and requested Manapool to return their coins to their Coinbase wallet. However, Manapool demanded a series of exorbitant payments:
$548,000 for a "platform service charge" - paid by the victim
$521,000 as a "margin deposit" - paid by the victim
Another $325,000 requested by Manapool - victim protested
Manapool offered a "VIP service" for $250,000 to expedite the process
Finally, when the victim thought the withdrawal was complete, Manapool claimed their account was at risk due to an unknown deposit. They demanded over a million dollars to resolve it or threatened to freeze/close the account.
💔 This victim depleted their retirement savings trying to retrieve their funds, realizing that Manapool is a dangerous scam. Let's stop this scam in its tracks and protect potential victims.
