The mall is already getting into the festive mood with beautiful lanterns and decorations! The Mooncake Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is a time for families and friends to gather, enjoy mooncakes, admire the full moon, and celebrate togetherness. ❤️ And of course… the best part for me is eating mooncakes! 😋 There are so many flavours to choose from — lotus paste with egg yolk, red bean, yam, and many more.
But if you ask me which one I prefer… DURIAN, of course! 💛🌰 😂
Wishing everyone a joyful and delicious Happy Mooncake Festival! 🌕🏮
Do you know why there's a bunny on the Mid-Autumn Festival moon? It’s based on a cool Chinese legend. That’s the Jade Rabbit, a celestial pet living with the moon goddess Chang'e. The story goes that this bunny proved its kindness through a huge act of self-sacrifice. As a reward, it got to live on the moon. Now, its job is to pound the ingredients for a magic potion that gives elixir of life. So, when you see it, it’s a symbol of being a good person and a wish for a long, healthy life for your family.
