Venezuela 🇻🇪 was rocked by an unusual double earthquake—with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5—striking just 39 seconds apart; the quakes caused significant damage across the country and triggered a massive emergency response. Authorities are continuing to assess the damage.
The earthquakes occurred around 6:00 PM (Venezuela time). Nothing major happened in my city, and my family and I are safe, though the power was out for three hours and I lost internet access for eight hours.
