Hello guys, I want to talk about what I learned from my grandmother about medicinal plants 🤓 I hope you like it, good morning 🌺

My grandmother had wisdom and knowledge that has been passed down from generation to generation.

As a child, we walked through the communities, there were not as many buildings as there are now and the patios were large and with crops, many medicinal plants, such as oregano, ginger, Luisa herb, lemon balm, cariaquiaquito and many wild plants that were also useful for health 🩷 .

It is incredible how much you can do with medicinal plants, very effective home remedies.

How lucky to have a grandmother with so much knowledge in home remedies!

My grandmother's remedies for flu and stomach pain were functional 👍.

My grandmother made us tea, an infusion of herbs that worked wonders to eliminate the symptoms.

There are so many plants in our community that can help treat different conditions, from chamomile tea to calm nerves to aloe vera to soothe burns.

My grandmother 🩷 For coughs she prepared red onion, ginger, aloe vera and honey, she put it to boil and let it reduce and then she took it to a bottle with honey and buried that bottle for 7 days, that bottle was never missing at home 😁.

Also a burn to purify the blood when we were just giving birth, it was with brandy, papelón, alucema, guayabita pepper and cumin and cinnamon, also seed anise, I made a Melao with all the ingredients and put it in a bottle 🧐.

She had a remedy for everything, and I inherited that hahaha 😁 I always take my plants preventively 👍.

I learned from her what I know about home remedies. I miss my grandmother a lot.

Also, my mother used them and I learned and now, she taught the grandchildren grandma's home remedies 🤓.

Hey there #tangledfamily
I want to share a video with you that was a TikTok trend back in 2022. This trend involved creating a video montage that focuses on answering questions from the point of view of someone close to you, revealing how they would best summarize you in categories like if you were a colour, which colour you'd be, if you were a smell, which smell you'd be, etc. Or you can even ask yourself the questions and do a little self-reflecting instead of posting the responses of someone else. I chose this option.
It truly is a labor of love when making one of these, taking some creators six or seven hours to complete. But worth every minute! And the proof is in the pudding with the hashtag #ifiwas
It was a way to share more about your personality/who you are and it's also really fun for #tangledfriends to get to know You better. But be warned you won’t be able to wake up one morning on a whim and think, Hmmm, I guess I will make one of those “If I Was” videos today. You need some prepping in order to create the video, you will need to think about the types of questions you want to ask. Do you have a theme to them, or are they random? And of those questions, get the answers from your partner (or yourself), comb your gallery or internet for pictures and then proceed with the hours of editing. (Still worth it!) In my case it took about 6 days as at the time I had 2 crochet afghans to complete for clients.

🎥 So I ask you to dive into this carefully crafted masterpiece! 🌟 Step into my world and get to know me 🎬

Hope you enjoy it! 🤞🏻💜
