🌞🌸 Good afternoon, my dear friends! Happy Saturday! 🥰☕️
Today, I have some wonderful news to share! 👶💙 One of my colleagues in social work has welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world! 🎉🍼💙
She will now be enjoying 6 months of maternity leave , with the possibility of another 6 months if she feels she needs more time with her little one. ❤️👶 And honestly, I couldn’t be happier for her! She deserves this precious time with her baby. 🥰
Now, here comes the other side of the story. 😂
Her maternity leave means our little work group will be short-handed, which apparently means my workload has decided to have a baby too , and probably less hours for Tangled. 🤣📚💻
Instead of one colleague taking care of a newborn, I’ll be taking care of double the work! 😂😂
My calendar is probably looking at me right now saying, “Good luck, girl, you’re going to need it!” 🤭☕️
But jokes aside, I’m genuinely so happy for my colleague. ❤️ A new baby is such a beautiful blessing, and no amount of extra work can take away from that happiness.
So, I’ll happily carry a little extra weight at work while she carries her precious little boy in her arms. 👶💙
