Finally got this thing put together....day late, and aa always, a dollar short.
Turned out pretty good for my first attempt at adding a background. A couple glitches and a couple of things I would do differently...and I ran out of background at the end.
As for the song itself, I think I got it down about 90%. Mind you this like my billionth take, and in my defense, it's a tough song to nail technically and Steve Fossen used a pick when he recorded it. 😕
Anyways, on with the show!

🟩 Fun With Chroma Key 🟩
It's time for me to come out with another bass video. Now mind you, I don't play in a band or anything, I just go into my studio and learn and record whatever song I'm working on.
And when I say studio, I mean the couch in the living room of my one bedroom apartment, see first image below. I have my music and video software on a PC hooked up to my living room TV. You can see my point of view in the second image.
Anyways, not actually playing in a band or without lights or anything, my videos lack anything special. Just me sitting in a computer chair or on my couch playing my bass.
I attempted a little special effects in my last video, Aerosmith's Nobody'd Fault which can be viewed on my profile. But those are just filters that are built into my video editor, nothing fancy.
So now I've decided to experiment with a little green screen movie magic.
In the first video I attempted to hang the green screen behind the couch and create a fish aquarium type effect. It kind of worked, only problem, MY COUCH IS GREEN! 😱
So the way to go is full green screen, third image below. 👍
And my test video ( last video) is a roaring success and my brain is already coming up with tons of backgrounds for different songs at an alarming rate. Brain doesn't realize I have to learn the songs first. 🙄
I've already created my first background for a video that I'm going to go attempt to record right now. If all goes according to plans, it should be ready tomorrow or Saturday.
