āļøš Good day, my dear friends! ššāØ
Today is WORLD OZONE DAY! šš”ļøāļø
And apparently, Nature has called an emergency meeting with humanity! ššæ
š© Human: Hello, Nature! You look beautiful today!
šæ Nature: Thank you. I would look even better if you humans would stop treating me like your personal garbage bin!
šØ Human: Oh š³ Weāre sorry!
šæ Nature: Sorry? You cut my trees, pollute my air, fill my oceans with rubbish, waste my resources, and then come outside for five minutes and say, Ahhh, what a beautiful day! š¤£š³š
š© Human: Okay, when you put it like that.
šæ Nature: Oh, Iām not finished! Ozone, tell them what you do all day! š
š”ļø Ozone: I help protect them from harmful ultraviolet radiation. āļøš
šæ Nature: Exactly! Ozone is up there doing overtime while you lot are down here arguing about who left the lights on!
šØ Human: But we do appreciate you!
šæ Nature: Then SHOW IT! Plant trees. Reduce pollution. Waste less. Save energy. Protect wildlife. Keep your rubbish where it belongs! š±šā»ļø
š© Human: Okay, Nature, message received! š
šæ Nature: Good! Because Iām your only home. And unlike your house, I don't have a landlord you can call when something breaks! š¤£
š”ļø Ozone: She has a point.
šæ Nature: Of course I have a point. Iām NATURE! ššæ
šš MORAL: Nature gives us air, water, food, ecosystems, and a planet to call home. The ozone layer is one important part of that protection. So maybe we should stop waiting for Nature to complain and start taking better care of her now! šš±š”ļø
āļøš HAPPY WORLD OZONE DAY!
Letās keep our planet healthy, our atmosphere cleaner, and Nature happy! š„°šæš
