Three PIA flights received at once, at Skardu International Airport today from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) stated that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) would operate Dubai-Skardu flights twice a week, with the first departure from Skardu to Dubai on April 29 and the first arrival on May 4. Last year, a total of 11 flights were operated between Skardu and Dubai on different occasions.
Skardu Airport, declared ‘international’ in December 2021, is the only airport in northern Pakistan capable of accommodating larger airplanes.
