What paints the Ariake Sea red is the salt-tolerant plant "Shichimenso"(suaeda japonica)， which grows to about 20-40 cm tall! Around early November, it turns a beautiful red color, attracting locals and visitors alike💕
The embankment at Higashiyoka coast in Saga City is known as a great spot to observe the fields of Shichimensou, so be sure to visit!
