I've been thinking of trying to pick up some part time work recently. The covid stuff has made it hard, and for what I'm trained in I was mandated out if work for the last two years. I still am at about 2/3 jobs that relate to my area of expertise which is drug and alcohol and mental health support work. Early yesterday morning I decided to apply to a job that is in that sector. It's the first one ive applied to since 2019. I applied at about 3 am and they called at about 8 am and have offered me an interview.
I feel quite excited about it :-)
