This is Shelly, a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who showed up in our backyard about a month ago looking for a safe place to have her four kittens. We gave her shelter, food, and a place to care for them, and I’m happy to say they are all doing well.
If Shelly and the kittens decide to stick around, I plan to get them a heated outdoor cat house for the winter and keep providing food and shelter for as long as they want to call our yard home.

We spotted these two kittens in the hut house of my sister in law's farm. The mother was watching and guarding us, so we didn't dare move or touch them. They were newborns. 🐈⬛🐈⬛
