Lord God we are so humbly grateful for what you have done and are doing for and through me and my child!
On day 26, the doctors removed my wrist from the splint and staples from my wrist. I was upgraded to a brace that I have to still wear 99% of the time and for another 4 weeks (Check photos (1) the xray image of where the bullet shattered my radius bone, (2) the xray image of my installed plate, (3 and4) where the splint was removed before removing staples, and (5) my brace upgrade).
Today on day 28, the last remaining stitches were removed from the area where the bullet was removed from my head. The doctor also gave me some relief from my wired mouth by removing the wires and adding in rubber bands. I still have to go back and be put under in the operating room to get the metal bridged bracket part unscrewed out of my mouth. Still all liuid diet but through it all I still won’t complain! My son and I still have a journey ahead but God you are yet worthy for all the praises! Thank you God for sparring me and my son life. DAY 23: GOD I THANK YOU FOR YET ANOTHER UNPROMISED DAY.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31.
To Malcolm-my miracle, my motivator, my mighty warrior. You are living proof that God still performs miracles. You are my why, my heartbeat, and my legacy. God carried us through—I will never stop giving God the glory. I love you my baby.
