“Dust in the Wind” by Kansas always hits me in a quiet, unexpected way. 🍃
I first heard it at a moment in life when I needed to slow down, and since then it has stayed with me like a gentle reminder that nothing, time, moments, even people, ever really stays in our hands for long.
What makes it even more special for me is knowing it comes from Kansas , the American rock band formed in the 1970s in Topeka. A group known for powerful, energetic tracks like Carry On Wayward Son, yet here they are showing a completely different side, soft, reflective, almost fragile.
Every time I listen to it, I feel like I’m being reminded to let go a little more, appreciate a little deeper, and not hold on too tightly to things I can’t keep.
In the end, it feels like a quiet truth I keep relearning, we are all just dust in the wind. 🌙❤️
