Flood in Mauritius on Sunday April 21st, 2024 due to heavy rain.
Many houses have been flooded. We have had 302 mm of rain in certain areas.
As a result of torrential rains, a two-story house collapsed in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. The eight members of the family were able to leave the house to take refuge with a neighbor. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to reports, the ground floor was submerged in water due to flooding caused by heavy rains that hit the country this Sunday.
