How to tell if a person likes you by looking at you
Scientists say: eye movements can tell us what kind of relationship we're hoping for.
Research conducted at Wellesley College and the University of Kansas showed interesting results. A person's eye movements vary depending on whether they are looking at another person as a potential mate or as a friend.
The scientists analyzed the eye movements of 105 students (men and women). They were shown pictures of strangers. The respondents had to answer whether they wanted to be friends or romantically involved with the people in the photo.
It turned out that men most often look at a woman's breasts, waist, and hips. And it doesn't matter if they want to date her or just be friends. If a man is hoping for a relationship with a woman, he looks at her face for longer.
Women are more likely to look at a man's chest or face if she sees him as a potential soulmate.

- "Yes." Even arguments against should begin with "yes"-it's human nature to calm down when one agrees with them.
- "We." Not "us against you," but "us with you." Try to include yourself and the other party to the conflict in the same social group: people more easily side with members of "their tribe."
