✔️ If I could swim with one species of shark, I would choose the Whale Shark.
Although it is the largest fish in the world, it is gentle, peaceful, and feeds mainly on plankton. Swimming alongside such a magnificent creature would be an unforgettable experience.
✔️ One surprising fact about sharks:
Sharks are much older than dinosaurs. They have existed on Earth for over 400 million years, making them one of the oldest surviving animal groups.
✔️ What is the biggest threat to sharks today?
The greatest threat is overfishing, especially shark finning, along with habitat destruction, pollution, and climate change. Millions of sharks are killed every year, upsetting the balance of marine ecosystems.
Healthy oceans depend on healthy shark populations. By protecting sharks, we help protect the entire marine food web and the future of our oceans.
