Since January 2026 , the husband of my sister (stepbrother who own the plums trees ..) trying to dig a #well in his farm .
The water table is dropping consistently since years. Usually they find water at 23-25 meter depth with traditional well (manual work).
Now working on the 3rd one , low depth) with machine (bought it after several failure to reduce the costs) trying to save his 10 hectares paradise.
The #agricultture is suffering with #irrigation and water scarcity. Day after day and bad exploitation with deep wells makes it worse, beside the wrong management of the water ressources in all the country.
So , he is trying again and again and it's draining him. A real fighter 💪
