I updated the page about my online Buteyko breathing courses.

If you tried breathing exercises but did not get long-term permanent results — this is very common.

The main reason:
breathing exercises alone are not enough.

Real progress requires:
– physical activity (with nasal breathing)
– proper sleep habits
– consistent lifestyle changes and identifiction of all key body-resistance factors that prevent your morning CP growth.

This is exactly what I teach in my courses.

After 25+ years of teaching and working with thousands of students, I focus only on methods that produce measurable results.

If you are serious about improving your breathing, sleep, and health, you can learn more on the updated page here:

One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Buteyko method is the belief that it is mainly about breathing exercises.

In reality, Dr. Buteyko discouraged long-term reliance on exercises. He taught that the true foundation for maintaining health is physical activity with correct breathing.

However, in modern teaching, we spend most of our time on breathing exercises and lifestyle advice—while physical training is rarely included. This creates an illusion that exercises are the core of the method.

This same limitation is reflected in clinical trials, which often ignore physical activity altogether.

Breathing exercises are only the entry point. Long-term adaptation happens through how we breathe during real life, sleep and 24/7.
In recent clinical trials on Buteyko breathing done in Asia, they ask subjects to have 20 min of breathwork twice daily without any other changes. Usually they call it testing Buteyko breathing technique. Would you expect that such intervention can produce positive effects on symptoms, sleep and disease factors?
