Hello... I've been on Tangled for over a year now but still don't know how to use this site. I followed somebody here from another site but that person told me not to talk to them, so I've honored their wishes, even though they stole a real life photo of me on the other site until I was forced to make a formal take down request on that site. You'd think they'd leave me alone since I'm not bothering them but apparently that's too much to ask.
Anyway, I am curious about something. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism over 15 years ago. My eyes swell closed at least once a week from that so was "let go" from my last job. I've managed since then but was diagnosed with adult onset hydrocephalus a few months ago and did the test drain (where they put a tube/needle into my lower back to drain some spinal fluid out and see if that helped me. It did help so now I'm on track to have a shunt installed in my brain to help drain off cerebrospinal fluid. I hope that will work as well as the test drain did.
Has anybody else gone through anything like this? Will I regain my ability to walk without using a cane or walker? Will I be able to think clearly again?
