Very glad that I successfully joined this great platform, as I always admire people who write well, and respect those who read as much as they can throughout their lives..
As English Language and Literature was my major in the university in the early sixties, lived in New Zealand for 24 years, and studied applied linguistics there, I probably have spent more years studied English than Mandarin. In fact, my understanding of English language has helped me uplift my overall Mandarin skills.
